[grins, blushing slighty] Yes, people often tell me that. [laughs] I can assure you I won’t do anything bad! [pokes tongue out playfully at his police station remark] And just so you know, gentlemen are much more respected. Trust me. [feels herself to beginning to get a little bit tipsy]
[Smiles seeing her blush slightly] Ha, yeah people like free spirits, they’re a lot more interesting. [Puts his hand up in surrender] Hey, I didn’t think you would! [Chuckles, seeing she’s getting a bit more out of it] So I’ve heard they are. Uh, Victoria, would you like me to walk you home?
[tilts her head to one side, her fringe messing up slightly] No, no! Let’s stay a bit longer! I’m fine, I’m fine! [slurs, taking another swig of her drink]
You seem to be a very free spirit, Victoria. We don’t have a lot of those around here. A couple, but their usually in the station. But…something tells me you won’t be. [He smiles, taking his shot of vodka. He laughs as Victoria is surprised by his attitude towards flings] Thanks. I just kind of made it a thing to at least try to be gentlemanly. I come off a little cold sometimes, but I mean well.

[Listens intently to Victoria’s stories about moving. He thinks thoughtfully for a moment] Wow foster care? That would be really tough. You seem like you could hardly anything though. I could see why you’d pick Heatherfield then. It’s a very stay put place. [smiles, shaking his head as the bartender ask him if he’ll have another scotch] I’ll have a shot of vodka, actually. [He says to the bartender, turning back to Victoria] I like unattached, but I’ve never been one for flings actually. The only reason I like unattached right now is because well, I’m kind of dating my work right now. [chuckles]
[Victoria nods, tilting her head, smiling at the bartender as their drinks arrived] Well, yes, it was difficult but now as an adult, being able to do what I want and live where I want is bliss. [chuckles] And really now? Wow, you’re one of the first guys I’ve met in ages who isn’t into “flings” - I applaud you. That’s very rare. [smiles]
I hated it, actually. I was put in foster care, see, and and every few months I’d be sent off to a different side of the country, to wherever there was a vacancy. So, yes, staying put is the plan for me these days. [nods, smiling, finishing her drink, then ordering another one] And I have to agree. I’ve been unattached for years, and I love it. It’s so free. And I mean, you can have one off flings without it having to mean anything. And I like that.
I am, actually. I moved around a lot as a child, so I do know what it’s like living in a quaint little area. Which is always nice. [nods] And how’s that a good thing? [smirks, biting her lip]
Eh, that’s understandable. Cities do have quite a few of people; it would be weird not knowing everyone in town though. Every knows everyone here. [He smiles down at his glass, waiting a minute to take a sip of his scotch] Even if you don’t want them to know you. You live in New York for a while though, that would be a big move. Live anyone behind when you moved? [He asked, his lips itching to turn into a smirk]
Yes, that’s absolutely right. Privacy is limited in a small town, yes! [Victoria raises a brow, smirking at his second question] As a matter of fact, no.
Well, I really just needed a change. I mean, I was in New York ever since I turned 20, and now I’m 33, I wanted to escape the city for a bit. [replies, taking another swig of her drink]
Well, I’m not most women. [smirks, paying complete attention to him, nodding along to every word as he spoke, in total awe] Oh, that sounds fun! [chuckles, taking a sip of her beverage once it arrives]
How personal. That really isn’t any of your business, but for the sake of agreeing to answer anything.. I’m 33, so, obviously, no, I’m not.
